Video: Marion Bartoli's unique training methods are something else

By Brian Stubits | Hockey writer

When you watch Marion Bartoli on the court, she never stops. Between every point she plays what looks like a second game in the other direction against a shadow opponent. She never stops moving and is a jitterbug, full of energy and ritual.

Intensity is another word to describe Bartoli. Unorthodox, too. Beyond just her actions, Bartoli also has an unorthodox forehand, using two hands (of course she uses two hands on the backhand, too).

That would appear to be a result of her training regimen with her coach, who is also her father. Check out the video of Bartoli practicing at the U.S. Open with her father taking her through some ... unorthodox ... drills.

All I got for that is wow.
