BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (AP) Alejandro Vasquez had 28 points in UAB Blazers's 83-69 victory over Tulane Green Wave on Wednesday night.
Vasquez had six rebounds for the Blazers (11-6, 3-1 American Athletic Conference). Efrem Johnson scored 15 points and added six assists. Christian Coleman was 6 of 9 shooting and 1 of 4 from the free throw line to finish with 13 points.
Kevin Cross led the way for the Green Wave (11-6, 2-3) with 14 points, seven rebounds and two steals. Sion James added 13 points and two steals for Tulane. Collin Holloway also had 13 points and two blocks.
