SEC teams likely appearing in the 2022 NCAA Tournament bracket will meet up Saturday when the No. 25 Alabama Crimson Tide (19-11) visit the LSU Tigers (20-10, 8-9). The Tide won the first matchup when these teams met on Jan. 19. It was a 70-67 final, but LSU (+4) stayed within the spread. LSU has been the better team against the spread all season, going 19-11, while Alabama has just a 10-20 mark. You can stream the game on Paramount+.

Tipoff is set for noon ET at Pete Maravich Assembly Center. The Tigers are four-point favorites in the latest LSU vs. Alabama odds from Caesars Sportsbook, while the over-under for total points is 152. College basketball picks for LSU vs. Alabama

Before tuning into the Alabama vs. LSU game, you need to see the college basketball picks from SportsLine's advanced computer model. The SportsLine Projection Model simulates every Division I college basketball game 10,000 times. Over the past five-plus years, the proprietary computer model has generated an impressive profit of over $1,700 for $100 players on its top-rated college basketball picks against the spread. Anyone who has followed it has seen huge returns.

For LSU vs. Alabama, the model says the game stays under the total. Alabama is known for its explosive offense, but the Crimson Tide have been extremely inconsistent. The Crimson Tide are not shooting well from the perimeter, ranked No. 293 nationally in three-point percentage. They are facing an LSU defense that ranks fourth in three-point percentage, so Alabama may not get many easy looks from beyond the arc.

The Tigers are also turning teams over at the fourth-highest rate in the country, which does not bode well for an Alabama offense that is No. 246 in turnover rate. LSU has had offensive struggles of its own, knocking down just 32.3 percent of its attempts from three-point range. The Tigers have gone under the total in 11 of their 17 home games.

SportsLine's model is projecting that the teams combine for 149 points, helping the under hit with several points to spare.
