Who's Playing

St. John's @ Indiana

Current Records: St. John's 2-0; Indiana 2-0

What to Know

The St. John's Red Storm have enjoyed the comforts of home their last two games, but now they must head out on the road. They will square off against the Indiana Hoosiers at 9 p.m. ET on Wednesday at Simon Skjodt Assembly Hall. After both teams made easy work of their previous opponents, one of them is set up to suffer a discouraging change of fortune.

Everything went St. John's' way against the St. Peter's Peacocks on Saturday as they made off with a 91-70 win. Among those leading the charge for the Red Storm was guard Julian Champagnie, who shot 5-for-10 from beyond the arc and finished with 22 points.

Meanwhile, everything came up roses for IU at home against the Northern Illinois Huskies last Friday as the team secured an 85-49 victory. IU can attribute much of their success to forward Trayce Jackson-Davis, who had 19 points in addition to seven blocks and seven rebounds.

St. John's is expected to lose this next one by 4.5. They might be worth taking a chance on against the spread, however, as they are currently on a two-game streak of ATS wins.

The wins brought St. John's up to 2-0 and the Hoosiers to 2-0. A pair of last-season numbers to keep in mind before tip-off: The Red Storm come into the game boasting the highest field goal percentage in college basketball at 44.70%. But IU have been holding their opponents to a field goal percentage of 30.90%, which places them sixth in college basketball. We'll see which of these strengths -- offense or defense -- will win out.
