What to Know

The Clemson Tigers are 7-0 against the Pittsburgh Panthers since January of 2016, and they'll have a chance to extend that success Saturday. Clemson and Pitt will face off in an ACC battle at 6 p.m. ET at Littlejohn Coliseum. Given that both teams suffered a loss in their last game, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this contest.

On Tuesday, the Tigers lost to the Syracuse Orange on the road by a decisive 91-78 margin. Clemson's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of forward PJ Hall, who posted a double-double on 19 points and 11 rebounds, and guard David Collins, who had 18 points.

Meanwhile, Pitt was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Wednesday as they fell 66-61 to the Virginia Cavaliers. Forward John Hugley (23 points) was the top scorer for Pitt.
