The Radford Highlanders are on the road again on Wednesday and play against the Maryland-Baltimore County Retrievers at 7 p.m. ET Dec. 29 at Chesapeake Employers Insurance Arena. Neither Radford nor Maryland-Baltimore County could muster much offensive firepower in their last games, so look to the defense to decide this one.

The oddsmakers predicted a rough matchup for the Highlanders on Saturday, and boy were they were right. Things couldn't have gone much worse for them as they lost 74-54 to the Davidson Wildcats. Radford's loss came about despite a quality game from forward Shaquan Jules, who had 12 points along with seven rebounds. Jules' performance made up for a slower contest against the George Washington Colonials last Monday.

Meanwhile, the Retrievers entered their game against the UNCG Spartans last week without any home losses -- but there's a first time for everything. Maryland-Baltimore County took a hard 62-51 fall against UNCG.
