What to Know

The Richmond Spiders haven't won a matchup against the Saint Louis Billikens since Jan. 30 of 2019, but they'll be looking to end the drought Friday. The Spiders and Saint Louis will face off in an Atlantic 10 battle at 7 p.m. ET at Robins Center. Richmond is out to keep their three-game home win streak alive.

Richmond didn't have too much trouble with the George Washington Colonials on the road on Tuesday as they won 84-71. Richmond got their win on the backs of several key players, and it was guard Jacob Gilyard out in front picking up 15 points in addition to five rebounds.

Meanwhile, while not quite a landslide, the contest between Saint Louis and the Saint Joseph's Hawks on Tuesday was still a pretty decisive one as the Billikens wrapped it up with a 72-61 victory at home. Forward Francis Okoro and guard Yuri Collins were among the main playmakers for Saint Louis as the former posted a double-double on 15 points and ten boards along with three blocks and the latter had 17 points and six assists.

The Spiders are expected to win this handily, but they should have beaten Saint Joseph's Dec. 30 easily too and instead slipped up with an 83-56. In other words, don't count Saint Louis out just yet.
