Arkansas State's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Jaylen Raynor, who rushed for 53 yards and two touchdowns. The team also got some help courtesy of Zak Wallace, who rushed for 88 yards and a touchdown.
Special teams played a big role in the game for Arkansas State, adding 13 points to the final score. All those points came courtesy of Dominic Zvada: he added nine points with three field goals, and another four kicking extra points.
Troy's win bumped their season record to 7-2 while South Alabama's loss dropped theirs to 4-5.
Looking forward, South Alabama is the favorite in this one, as the experts expect to see them win by 11 points. They might be worth a quick bet since they've covered the spread the last four times they've played Arkansas State.
