Astros' Jason Castro: Lands on 10-day IL

Castro was placed on the 10-day injured list with left Achilles soreness Friday, retroactive to May 25, Brian McTaggart of MLB.com reports.

Castro hadn't started in either of the last two games, but he was apparently dealing with an injury that will now force him to miss additional time. Catcher Garrett Stubbs was recalled from Triple-A Sugar Land and should serve as a backup option behind Martin Maldonado.
