Diamondbacks' Ty Tice: Removed from 40-man roster

The Diamondbacks outrighted Tice to Triple-A Reno on Thursday.

Tice has struggled in four games with Reno since been claimed July 21, allowing eight runs and walking six batters in just 2.1 innings of work. The move keeps him with Arizona's Triple-A club for now, but he's unlikely to sniff the major-league roster unless he has a huge turnaround.
