Gonzalez Germen: Signs to play in Japan

Germen signed a contract with the Orix Buffaloes to pitch in Japan in 2017, the Japan Times reports.

German had a 5.31 ERA with 40.2 innings for the Rockies last season. At age 28, it's possible he could return to MLB if he thrives in Japan.
