Colon is the leading candidate to be recalled once the Indians come across the need for an extra reliever, Brian Hemminger of SB Nation reports.
The big right-hander struggled last season in his MLB debut, going 1-3 while posting a 7.20 ERA over 11 outings. However, Colon is outmatching opponents for a second straight Triple-A campaign. He owns a 2.61 ERA while holding hitters to a .227 BAA this season. His 1.40 ERA and 19:12 K:BB leaves something to be desired, but overall, Colon is the most viable option for the Indians to promote at some point this year.
