Indians' Joseph Colon: Optioned to minor leagues

Colon was optioned to the minor leagues Sunday, Jordan Bastian of MLB.com reports.

Colon pitched 10 innings for the Indians in 2016 but will begin the 2017 campaign in Triple-A Columbus. He's a candidate to return to the majors if an injury occurs to one of the team's relievers.
