Mariners' Casey Fien: Outrighted to Triple-A

Fien was outrighted to Triple-A Tacoma on Wednesday.

After being designated for assignment Monday, Fien has cleared waivers and will be sent to the minors to work on his stuff. The 31-year-old allowed 10 runs in just six innings of work before his demotion.
