Nationals' Kyle McGowin: Outrighted to Triple-A

McGowin (elbow) was outrighted to Triple-A Rochester on Friday, Jesse Dougherty of The Washington Post reports.

McGowin recorded a passable 4.20 ERA in 30 innings of relief for the Nationals this season. He missed time with biceps tendinitis and a sprained UCL, though he avoided Tommy John surgery for the latter injury and should be ready for spring training.
