Nationals' Kyle McGowin: Starts up rehab assignment

McGowin (biceps) made a rehab appearance for Triple-A Rochester on Sunday, striking out two over a perfect inning.

McGowin has been on the shelf since July 11 with right biceps tendinitis. He'll likely make at least a couple more rehab appearances for Rochester before rejoining the Washington bullpen.
