Rangers' Shane Carle: Bumped from 40-man roster

Carle was designated for assignment by the Rangers on Friday.

Carle was acquired by the Rangers from the Braves in late July and was removed from the 40-man roster before making a major-league appearance with his new team. The 27-year-old has struggled since the trade with seven runs allowed (six earned) on 13 hits over 6.2 innings for Triple-A Nashville.
