John Daly publicly endorses Donald Trump for president
John Daly wants his 'friend' Donald Trump to be president because he's business, not politics. I'm stunned that Daly would have a strong take on something like this.

You're not going to believe this, but John Daly has some takes on politics. Or rather, he says, on business. Daly, who is about to begin his PGA Tour Champions career, endorsed his "friend" Donald Trump recently on Twitter as the presidential campaigns roll on.
That's y I luv my friend @realDonaldTrump he's not politics he's business! It's what our country needs #SuperTuesday pic.twitter.com/5A5cTg3UEh

And hey, you know who might need a vice president candidate soon? And you know who's has some downtime because of how few events he gets in these days?
It will be interesting to see if anyone at Trump National Doral -- site of this week's Cadillac Championship on the PGA Tour -- will do the same. I'm betting against it, but you never know. Trump, as you might know, has been at the forefront of the golf world for a while.
"There might be a few more people out here," Dustin Johnson said this week at Doral about the Trump for President hype. "It might be a little bit more crazy. But they tend to get a good crowd out here. There's always a bunch of people it seems like."
Finally, Adam Scott said something I think we're all in favor of. "Hopefully [politics and sports] don't intersect at all [at the Cadillac Championship]. Should be the beauty of sport."
