Farrance has been on the taxi squad since signing his entry-level contract with the Predators on March 28. The 21-year-old was an offensive force on Boston University's blue line over the last two seasons, posting 59 points across 45 games. He's eligible to make his NHL debut in Thursday's game against the Red Wings, though he may just be pregame injury insurance.
