    Gerasimyuk posted a 13-save shutout in AHL Charlotte's 4-0 win over Cleveland on Wednesday. The Monsters didn't force him to work much for his second AHL shutout in just six games played. He's 2-2-1 with a 2.00 GAA and a .907 save percentage in his first year in the league, but he has a long way to go before potentially being an NHL option.

  • Panthers' Kirill Gerasimyuk: Earns first AHL shutout

    Gerasimyuk posted a 17-save shutout in AHL Charlotte's 2-0 win over Iowa on Saturday. Gerasimyuk is 1-1-0 with a shutout over three AHL appearances. The 22-year-old goalie signed his entry-level contract with the Panthers in July after spending time in the second-tier Russian league, the VHL. While he's had a positive start in the AHL, Gerasimyuk is unlikely to make his NHL debut any time soon.
