Final scores
Feyenoord 0, Bayer Leverkusen 4
Crvena Zvezda 1, Benfica 2
Atalanta 0, Arsenal 0
Monaco 2, Barcelona 1
Atletico Madrid 2, RB Leipzig 1
Brest 2, Sturm Graz 1

Monaco and Bayer Leverkusen were the big winners on Thursday in the UEFA Champions League when 17 goals were scored across six games that concluded Matchday 1 in the newly expanded version of the competition.
Leverkusen notched the biggest win of the day with a 4-0 win at Feyenoord, including a brace for Florian Wirtz in his Champions League debut. The most surprising victory on Thursday, though, came courtesy of Monaco, who snapped Barcelona's five-game winning streak after Eric Garcia's 10th minute red card changed the complexion of the game. Additionally, first-time Champions League participants Brest marked their European debut in style with a win over Sturm Graz.
Here's a look at the day's final scores, as well as a glance at the results from Matchday 1.
Feyenoord 0, Bayer Leverkusen 4
Crvena Zvezda 1, Benfica 2
Atalanta 0, Arsenal 0
Monaco 2, Barcelona 1
Atletico Madrid 2, RB Leipzig 1
Brest 2, Sturm Graz 1
90' Atleti are in front for the first time all day, with Griezmann playing a pass to Gimenez for the go-ahead goal. All they have is stoppage time to play now.
It may not have been the most set in stone penalty but overturning this seems odd at this stage.
Folarin Balogun was taken down by Martinez and that could be it for Barcelona.
Taking advantage of a misplaced pass from Barcelona, George Ilenikhena got in behind and won his one on one battle with ter Stegen to give Monaco a much needed lead.
Monaco can't get a foot to Lamine Yamal when he has the ball and every Barcelona counter attack feels like a chance to score. Folarin Balogun is entering to bolster the attack still in search of his first goal of the season.
56' Brest's European debut is an awfully entertaining one, especially now that the hosts have restored their lead. It's a well-taken goal from newcomer Sima, who does all he can to reach for a loose ball and score from close range.
Retegui had his penalty and the follow up also saved by David Raya in the net and Atalanta may have lost their best chance that they'll have all game.
Thomas Partey has taken down Ederson in the box and Atalanta will have a chance from the spot. This is quite the shift of fortunes for a game that hasn't had many chances from open play. It will be reviewed by VAR.
Needing to push the attack after allowing a goal to Barcelona, Aleksandr Golovin will enter the match for Lamine Camara in midfield. This could be an exciting 45 minutes of play.
There's only one game without a goal in the first half and to no surprise it's Atalanta vs. Arsenal. Defense is reigning supreme and both teams are quite okay with that. Arsenal have had to get more conservative without Martin Odegaard but every other game is level so far. Both teams have scored one goal in each game and Barcelona are down to 10 setting us up for an exciting finish to today's slate of matches.
45'+1 Sturm Graz spoil Brest's European debut by notching an equalizer just before the half, though they did get some help as Brest's sloppy defending leads to an own goal from Edimilson Fernandes.
28' It's 1-1 in Madrid now, with Llorente's stellar cross allowing Griezmann to score -- and with his weaker foot. This clash between Atleti and Leipzig seemed like it might be the most competitive game of the day and so far, it's living up to the billing.
WHO ELSE BUT LAMINE YAMAL! With Barcelona going down to 10 men and behind the 17-year-old took things into his own hands. Checking his run to stay onside and then rolling through the defense to finish with ease, there isn't much that Yamal can't do. He now has four goals in all competitions this season.
25 mintues into the match, there still hasn't been a great chance in the match. Atalanta have been defensively stout holding Arsenal to an xG of .27 for now but the Italian side also hasn't been able to create attacks of their own so far in the early going.
23' Magnetti takes a skillful strike from close range to give Brest the 1-0 lead over Sturm Graz, making history in the process -- it's Brest's first goal in European competition, marking their debut in a UEFA tournament in style.
What a hit as Monaco opens the scoring with an academy product Maghnes Akliouche scoring with a great finish. Now, Barcelona are behind in the score as well as being down a man.
Eric Garcia has been sent off for Barcelona for bringing down Takumi Minamino outside the box and it's now a major worry for Barcelona. Only 13 minutes into the match, they'll now have to look to manage the game to pick up points. The card was a fair decision but we're going to see how Barcelona responds to adversity under Hansi Flick.
While there hasn't been a shot on target yet against Atalanta, the Gunners are at least turning their domination of possession into shots in the first 10 minutes. Atalanta is a side good at limiting top attacks but if Arsenal can dictate the match, it will be a long day for the Italian side.
4' RB Leipzig are the first team on the board in the later kickoff window, with Sesko pouncing on a rebound in the box to give his side an early lead over Atletico Madrid. Openda is the one with the first crack at goal but Oblak makes the stop, only for the Atleti defenders to be slower to the ball than Sesko.
The away teams take home all three points to start today's Champions League action, though in two very different ways. Benfica escaped Belgrade with a tight win over Crvena Zvezda in which the home side dominated, while Bayer Leverkusen got all the work done in a four-goal first half at Feyenoord.
More shortly as Barcelona, Arsenal and more hit the pitch.
86' Ndiaye plays a nice ball through traffic and though Benfica have an offside trap set up, it's not enough to stop Milson from receiving the ball and making the quick run into the box to finish off the chance and finally get the reward for the Serbian giants after a half of hard work. Crvena Zvezda have now cut the deficit to one and with about three minutes plus stoppage time to go, it's game on.
Without Dani Olmo, Pedri will be in an advanced position for Barcelona today as they take on the French side.
Monaco XI: Kohn, Singo, Kehrer, Salisu, Vanderson, Zakaria, Camara, Akliouche, Minamino, Ben Seghir, Embolo
Barcelona XI: ter Stegen, Balde, Martinez, Cubarsi, Kounde, Casado, Garcia, Raphinha, Pedri, Yamal, Lewandowski
It wasn't a great day for the Austrian league yesterday with RB Salzburg being dominated and Strum Graz will look to do better.
Brest: Bizot, Lala, Chardonnet, Coulibaly, Amavi, Camara, Fernandes, Magnetti, Faivre, Ajorque, Sima
Strum Graz: Scherpen, Lavalee, Wuthrich, Aiwu, Gazibegovic, Gornec-Stankovic, Kiteishvili, Hornvat, Boving, Jatta, Biereth
Play resumed in Rotterdam and Belgrade about 15 minutes ago, though after a six goal spread in the first 45 minutes, we're still waiting for more after the break. Benfica continue to dominate against Crvena Zvezda but the surprising development is that Feyenoord are attempting to salvage something despite going down 4-0 before halftime. They just advocated for a penalty they didn't get, but have otherwise been active around Leverkusen's box, a surprise look for a team who are already on the wrong side of a lopsided scoreline.
A few changes coming for Athleti with Samuel Lino on the bench and Pablo Barrios out injured.
Atletico Madrid XI: Oblak, Le Normand, Giminez, Reinildo, Llorente, De Paul, Koke, Griezmann, Riquelme, Alvarez, Correa
RB Leipzig XI: Gulacsi, Raum, Lukeba, Orban, Henrichs, Nusa, Veerman, Haidara, Simos, Openda, Sesko
As the Europa League champions kick off their Champions League journey at home, here's how the teams will line up.
Atalanta XI: Carnesecchi, Djimsiti, Hien, Kolasinic, Zappacosta, de Roon, Ederson, Ruggeri, De Ketelaere, Lookman, Retegui
Arsenal XI: Raya, Timber, Gabriel, Saliba, Gabriel, White, Havertz, Partey, Rice, Martinelli, Jesus, Saka
45' Things continue to get worse for Feyenoord, who are now down 4-0 to Leverkusen before the halftime whistle blows. Grimaldo takes a freekick from close range and Tapsoba head the ball towards goal, which goalkeeper Wellenreuther should be able to handle. He makes a mess of it and the ball rolls into the back of the net, ensuring he'scredited with an own goal moments before the halftime whistle blows. It's been a terrific start to the Champions League campaign for Leverkusen -- and a truly dreadful one for Feyenoord.
36' Leverkusen capitalize on the counterattack yet again, allowing Wirtz to bag a brace on the day he scored his first Champions League goal. This game may have hung in the balance once upon a time, but the German champions may have already sealed the deal with minutes to go until halftime.
31' There's the cushion Leverkusen have been in need of since Wirtz's fifth minute goal. The visitors are now up 2-0 on Feyenoord, with Boniface playing a nice pass to Frimpong, who then sends the ball across the goal line and sets up Grimaldo for a simple finish.
29' Benfica take a 2-0 lead over Zvezda courtesy of Kokcu, who scored directly from a freekick just outside the penalty area. He's the second Turkey international to score for Benfica today as the visitors create a sizable lead that could be very helpful in the new-look league phase.
