Incoming South Carolina four-star defensive back J'Zavien Currence (Rock Hill, S.C./South Pointe) is the top overall prospect in the state for the Class of 2026. During an interview with Four Quarter Friday at the Touchstone Energy Bowl in Myrtle Beach, South Pointe head coach Bobby Collins says he believes the Gamecocks are getting a player that will carry on the legacy of great ones from the school in the tradition of Stephon Gilmore and Jadeveon Clowney.
