Duke coach Mike Krzyzewski undergoes second surgery this offseason
Duke's Hall-of-Fame coach will be healthy in time for the Olympics and the college basketball season.

Duke announced on Monday afternoon that coach Mike Krzyzewski had surgery earlier in the day on his hernia. As is usually the case with these kind of releases, the procedure was deemed "successful." Remember, Coach K is still the Olympic coach for the U.S. men's basketball team.
He'll need about a month to fully recover, but no matter: May is the second slowest month on the college basketball calendar, and Krzyzewski has plenty of time to gear up for Rio Olympics, which take place in August.
"I'd like to thank everyone at Duke University Hospital who made this procedure as smooth as possible," Krzyzewski said via statement. "With this surgery behind me, I'll be in great physical condition heading into the Olympics and I'm excited for the opportunities that lie ahead."
Krzyzewski's now had two surgeries in less than two months time. He underwent knee replacement surgery on his left knee in early April.
Duke is set to be the consensus preseason No. 1 team in the country heading into 2016-17.
