Indiana sophomore OG Anunoby is expected to miss at least Indiana's next two games -- Friday vs. SIU Edwardsville and Sunday vs. Southeast Missouri -- because of an ankle injury suffered in Wednesday night's 76-67 win over North Carolina, a source told CBS Sports on Thursday.

The source added Anunoby is basically out indefinitely -- meaning Indiana's staff will simply take a wait-and-see approach and monitor how the ankle responds. The good news: IU doesn't play another top-200 KenPom team until it faces Butler on Dec. 17. So Anunoby shouldn't be needed to secure a win for more than two weeks.

Anunoby left Wednesday's game in the final minutes and did not return.

The 6-foot-8 wing is averaging 12.5 points and 6.0 rebounds in 25.3 minutes per game. He's among the reasons the Hoosiers are 5-1 with wins over Kansas and North Carolina. Indiana is ranked 13th in the CBS Sports Top 25 (and one).
