Oregon State sophomore forward Tres Tinkle suffered a broken bone in the wrist on his non-shooting hand in a loss to Fresno State on Friday, according to a report from The Oregonian, and could be out as long as two months to recover.

Depending on the results of a CT scan set to take place Monday, Tinkle could return sooner, if the injury does not require surgery.

"We're hoping it's not bad and he's only out three or four weeks," coach Wayne Tinkle, his father, told ESPN of his son's injury. "It depends whether there's ligament damage -- and if he needs surgery."

The Beavers have now lost four-straight games, and without Tinkle, it may be an uphill climb to find their offense in the coming weeks. Oregon State will host Southern Oregon on Monday and begin Pac-12 conference play in four weeks with the hopes of getting Tinkle back before then.

It's a huge blow to the Beavers, who have heavily relied on Tinkle's scoring to carry them this season. As a freshman, he earned Pac-12 all freshman honorable mention, while putting up 13.1 points and 5.0 rebounds per game. He's averaged 20.2 points per game this season and was coming off his best performance of the year against Fresno State: 31 points, 10 rebounds and six steals.
