WATCH: Rick Barry's son hit all 8 of his underhanded free throws in Florida win
Canyon Barry's underhanded free throws helped Florida close out the game against Georgia
Florida guard Canyon Barry came up huge for the Gators late to help seal an 80-76 overtime victory vs. Georgia in the most unusual of ways.
Barry finished with a team-high 27 points and was 5-of-8 on 3-pointers. But it was his free throws, which he shoots "granny-shot" style, that made the difference. He was 8-of-8 from the line including hitting all four of his foul shots in overtime. His two free throws with 17 seconds remaining extended the Gators' lead to 79-76.

Canyon, the son of NBA Hall-of-Famer Rick Barry, adapted his fathers shooting style from the free-throw line. Rick finished his NBA career shooting 89.9 percent from the line -- doing so with an underhanded shot. His son has wisely followed suit with the shot, and it paid off in a big way as No. 23 Florida improved to 14-3 and 5-0 in the SEC.
