Oklahoma coach Bob Stoops has never exactly been shy when it comes to sharing his opinion of the SEC. In particular that it's overrated and hyped up by the media more than anything. His opinions have obviously drawn a lot of attention in SEC country, and for the last few years he's traded verbal jabs with radio host Paul Finebaum.

Well, Big Game Bob seems to be done with Pawwwwwwwwwl now.

"I don't care," said Stoops during his Monday press conference. "[Finebaum] doesn't deserve that attention from me. Bottom line is ask Tennessee and their 105,000 people if we're relevant or not. And a few other teams the last couple of years.

"He's getting paid to promote a league. That's what he does. That's OK. Everyone has to earn their money one way or the other."

Finebaum's show is SEC focused and is simulcast on the SEC Network. And Finebaum probably doesn't have much that he can say about Stoops and the Sooners at this point. After Saturday night's comeback victory against the Vols, Stoops' team has now won three straight games against SEC opponents.

So if there's any coach outside the SEC that can talk down to it these days, it's Bob Stoops.

When it comes to his opinions on the SEC, Bob Stoops backs them up with wins. (USATSI)
