LOOK: Lane Kiffin trolls USC with savage tweet referencing his firing
Kiffin took to Twitter to throw some shade at his former employer after Alabama beat USC 52-6
Of the many storylines in Alabama's 52-6 win over USC, one that cannot go overlooked was Crimson Tide offensive coordinator Lane Kiffin facing off against the program he coached from 2010-13.
What sweet redemption it was for Kiffin, whose offense put up 465 yards of offense on the Trojans' defense. Afterward, Kiffin was awarded the game ball. He then proceeded to tweet out this picture of his son, Knox, holding said ball with the message "#3:14AM-LAX", referencing 3:14 a.m. at Los Angeles International Airport -- the time and place USC fired him three years ago.

Sure, time has passed, and time heals many wounds. Those wounds also tend to close faster when things are going well, and things are obviously rolling for Kiffin in Tuscaloosa. As you can see in the video below, Kiffin still has a lot of respect for USC's players, many of whom he recruited when he was there.
Still, Kiffin was unceremoniously dumped by his former employer in one of the worst ways possible. When given the opportunity to rub it in, Kiffin didn't hold back.
Because there is no other Lane than "Savage Lane" and it just so happens that "Savage Lane" is the best kind.
