Tennessee entered Saturday with an 11-game losing streak to Florida. For the first 30 minutes of the game, it looked like the Vols would suffer a 12th straight defeat.

And then Tennessee's offense, which has been absent for a majority of the season thus far, came alive with four touchdown passes in 11 minutes. In the end, Tennessee won 38-28.

By the way, those were the first four scores the Gators had allowed through the air all season. Here's how it happened...

-- Tennessee quarterback Joshua Dobbs hit running back Jalen Hurd, who was inexplicably open on a coverage bust, for a 21-yard score on a wheel route to make the game 21-10 Florida.

-- Just before the end of the third quarter, Dobbs completed a 20-yard touchdown to Ethan Wolf to make it a 21-17 game.

-- While getting hit in the pocket, Dobbs completed a pass to Jauan Jennings for a 67-yard touchdown. The pass was bobbled by Jennings and drops had been an issue all game for the Vols. Still, this was the play of the game and gave Tennessee a 24-21 lead with 12:45 remaining in the fourth quarter.

-- Not but one minute later, Josh Malone got in on the action with a 42-yard pass from Dobbs to extend Tennessee's lead to 31-21.

-- Finally, Dobbs put the game away with a five-yard touchdown run to cap off a four-play, 50-yard drive.

College football is tough to predict from week to week, let alone from half to half. For Tennessee, this was absolutely a game of two halves. A stagnant offense and three-score deficit seemed insurmountable for the struggling Vols, but the final 30 minutes was Tennessee football realized under coach Butch Jones.

Now, if Tennessee could just play 60 minutes like that, maybe even two weeks in a row.
