Laterals are the hot new fashion trend in college football. Miami started it with an improbable eight-lateral kick return for a winning touchdown* against Duke last week, and Arkansas picked up the torch and ran with it in Saturday's 53-32 overtime win at Ole Miss.

The Razorbacks faced a do-or-die fourth-and-25 in overtime against Ole Miss, and ... well ... you see what happened.

I suppose if you're going to just chuck a ball backwards into the air with no regard for where it lands, Alex Collins is one of the people you'd hope was on the other end.

It was an important play, too, as Arkansas would go on to score a touchdown and win the game with a two-point conversion.

*depending on who you ask, anyway

Arkansas added the perfect touch to the play at the end of the night.
