WATCH: Texas State wins wild triple-overtime game on a double-pass TD
Texas State topped Ohio in triple overtime in one of Saturday's most entertaining games
On an opening weekend full of massive matchups with conference and national title implications, one of the wildest games came from a Sun Belt-MAC matchup between Texas State and Ohio.
The game was bananas with Texas State eventually beating Ohio in triple overtime by a 56-54 final after the Bobcats failed to convert a two-point conversion. The all-Bobcats matchup saw three scores in the final 51 seconds of the fourth quarter, with it ending up 38-38 at the end of regulation.
After a quick out gave Texas State the lead, Ohio answered almost immediately with a 75-yard touchdown on a tunnel screen pass to take the lead back by three.
Are you kidding?!? @OhioFootball with the huge 75-yard score in the final minute to take the lead. This is madness! https://t.co/SpPkQAhdoJ

The two teams traded touchdowns in the three overtime periods, but it was Texas State's ability to convert the two-point conversion following this double-pass touchdown that made the difference.
