It's Thanksgiving weekend, and Thanksgiving weekend is about three things: not working, eating until you pass out, and watching football while waiting to pass out.

Some believe that this tradition is limited to Thursday only, but I'm not one of these people. If the traditions of Thanksgiving weren't meant to last multiple days, we'd buy more reasonably sized turkeys and we wouldn't have so many side dishes. Much like the Thanksgiving feast itself, Friday and Saturday offer "leftovers."

So after you're done making that fifth turkey sandwich you've eaten in the last 24 hours, and you're ready to plant yourself on the couch for one more Saturday of college football action, here are the games you should be watching.

No. 8 Ohio State at No. 10 Michigan (Pick em) -- ABC, Noon: I don't think I have to hype up the importance of this game, both to the respective schools, or just in college football lore. If you're ranking the best rivalries in college football, no matter your allegiance, this rivalry should never be lower than third if you want to be taken seriously. And this year, there's some extra significance. The winner of this game is still alive for a division title. The loser is done.

No. 1 Clemson (-17) at South Carolina -- ESPN, Noon: The only reason to watch this game is because Clemson is ranked No. 1, and South Carolina is far from it. This way, if you haven't seen Clemson this season, you'll either get an idea of how good Clemson is, or you'll tune in for an incredible upset. I'm fairly certain it'll be the former.

No. 2 Alabama (-14) at Auburn -- CBS, 3:30 p.m.: Everything I said about Ohio State-Michigan qualifies for the Iron Bowl, with the major difference being that Auburn has nothing to play for other than the chance to ruin Alabama's season. The good news is, that's more than enough motivation for Auburn. Maybe the ending of this game will be as exciting as the last time these two met at Jordan Hare Stadium

Penn State at No. 5 Michigan State (-11) -- ESPN, 3:30 p.m.: The stakes are pretty clear for Michigan State at this point. If it beats Penn State, it wins the Big Ten East, and will face Iowa for the conference title, and a likely playoff bid. If it loses, it's hoping for the Rose Bowl at best. Not a bad consolation prize at all, but, you know, still a consolation prize.

No. 22 UCLA at USC (-3.5) -- ABC/ESPN2, 3:30 p.m.: If you'd have told me before the season that USC and UCLA would meet to decide the Pac-12 South, I would have been pumped. Unfortunately, a lot has happened between the beginning of the season and now, and while this game will still decide who gets to play Stanford for the Pac-12 title, it's lost some of that possible luster. That being said, visually, this is one of the best-looking games of the season when both teams where their traditional uniforms.

No. 6 Notre Dame at No. 9 Stanford (-3.5) -- Fox, 7:30 p.m.: Both of these teams are on the outside of the playoff looking in. Both of these teams absolutely must win this game to even have a chance to be chosen. It's just, I don't even know that a win will be enough for either, as Stanford has two losses, and injuries continue to make Notre Dame a little bit weaker every week.

No. 3 Oklahoma (-6.5) at No. 11 Oklahoma State -- ABC, 8 p.m.: The Big 12 may not have a championship game, but this will kind of serve as one. With Baylor and TCU playing on Friday night, both of these teams will know their fate heading into the game. No matter what, if Oklahoma wins, it's your Big 12 champion. If TCU beats Baylor, however, an Oklahoma State win would make the Cowboys your Big 12 champion. Oh, and it's also an intense rivalry game that's called Bedlam for a reason. Things tend to get crazy.

Best of the Rest

Georgia (-5) at Georgia Tech -- ESPN2, Noon

No. 18 Ole Miss (-1) at No. 21 Mississippi State -- ESPN 2, 7:15 p.m.

No. 13 Florida State (-2.5) at no. 12 Florida -- ESPN, 7:30 p.m.

Moxie Mayfield and the Sooners are likely a win away from the College Football Playoff. (USATSI)
