Baylor sophomore Perry Jones III leaving for NBA

Baylor sophomore Perry Jones III will head to the NBA.

Bears coach Scott Drew told CBSSports.com that the talented 6-foot-10 Texas native has decided to leave school.

Jones averaged 13.5 points and 7.6 rebounds per game, but NBA executives question his toughness and intensity. However, it's unlikely that Jones isn't taken in the NBA lottery.

Jones was suspended for the Big 12 tournament a year ago, and many were shocked when he opted to return and serve the remainder of his six-game NCAA-imposed suspension.

Drew also told CBSSports.com that freshman Quincy Miller will decide whether he will leave school or return to Waco on Tuesday.
