Big East releases 2012-13 conference schedule
On Thursday, the Big East Conference announced the matchups for the 2012-13 college basketball season. Each of the 15 teams will play four teams home-and-home, while also facing the 10 remaining teams once apiece.
With the conference undergoing some big changes in the coming years -- West Virginia has already left for the Big 12 -- there are certainly intriguing matchups on the docket. Georgetown will play Syracuse twice, which should add some excitement to the rivalry. Moreover, Louisville is the likely preseason favorite and will face potential top-10 team Syracuse twice.
