Naismith announces early-season watch list

The Atlantic Tipoff Club announced its 50-player early-season watch list on Tuesday morning, led by Creighton's Doug McDermott and Indiana's Cody Zeller.
Unlike the Wooden Award, the Naismith allows newcomers to make the list -- and seven freshmen are among the 50. Come February, the Board of Selectors will make a list of 30, and then cut it to four in March.
