Blue Jays' Jose Bautista: Ejected after hard slide

Bautista was ejected following a hard slide that led to the benches clearing Sunday in Texas, Shi Davidi of Sportsnet reports.

Bautista was plunked by a fastball earlier in the inning, raising tempers prior to the slide. He was ejected from the game because of it and the ensuing benches-clearing brawl, and could potentially face a small suspension. Expect any word on further punishment to be released over the next couple days.
