Cubs' Tommy La Stella: Plays in minor league game

La Stella (calf) played in the field in a minor league game Wednesday, MLB.com's Carrie Muskat reports. "It's just making sure I'm completely symptom-free, especially in games that don't mean anything," he said.

La Stella is one of 10 infielders still on the Cubs' spring roster, but given that he's projected to be a backup, he could have a brief stint on the DL at the beginning of the regular season. Regardless, it looks like the injury won't linger for much longer.
