Syndergaard allowed an unearned run on six hits and no walks while striking out 11 in seven innings to pick up the win Sunday against the Brewers.
Syndergaard lowered his ERA to 1.94 on the season with the seven-inning effort Sunday. He became the second Met and first since Dwight Gooden in 1984 to throw back-to-back outings of 10 strikeouts and no walks. He continues to excel, and if he keeps up this pace, he'll represent the Mets at the All-Star Game in San Diego on July 12.
