Achter was designated for assignment by the Phillies on Saturday.

This is the Phillies' corresponding move for acquiring Charlie Morton. While Achter has been decently successful at Triple-A in the last couple of years, it's tough to blame the rebuilding Phillies for moving on from a 27-year-old pitcher who still hasn't seen any success in the majors.
