Yankees' Mark Teixeira: Out of lineup Thursday

Teixeira is not in the lineup for Thursday's matchup with the Mets.

Teixeira has seen playing time in 14 consecutive games but will get a night off Thursday as Rob Refsnyder replaces him at first and bats eighth. Teixeira's average hasn't been above .200 since late May but he is slashing .333/.484/.542 over his last eight games.
