Curry notched 17 points (6-12 FG, 3-5 3Pt, 2-2 FT), six rebounds, and four assists over 34 minutes in Tuesday's 115-107 loss to the Trail Blazers.

Though he made the change too late in the season to make a difference for the lottery-bound Kings, coach George Karl has found success with using Curry -- who had previously been the team's lightly-used third-string point guard -- as his starting shooting guard. While starting six of the past seven games, Curry has averaged 15.3 points (on 52.1% shooting from the field), 2.6 rebounds, 2.4 assists, 2.4 three-pointers, and 0.9 steals in 27.3 minutes, production that far exceeds what Ben McLemore was providing during his run with the top unit. Karl's tumultuous tenure with the Kings could very well come to an end in the offseason, but he may have laid some of the groundwork for his successor by giving Curry to prove that he's a more-than-capable rotation player at the NBA level.
