Rose (knee) has been ruled out of Friday's game against the Heat.

Rose also missed Wednesday's game versus Miami due to soreness in his left knee. With the Knicks' lottery fate now sealed, getting players like Ron Baker and Chasson Randle more minutes is of a higher priority than risking the health of players like Rose, Carmelo Anthony (back) and Lance Thomas (hip), who will all sit out Friday evening. At the moment, it remains to be seen whether Rose will be in contention to play Sunday against the Celtics.
