Osweiler completed 21 of 44 passes for 296 yards, with three touchdowns and one interception Sunday against the Steelers. He also rushed five times for 19 yards and another score.

Osweiler was excellent for most of the first half, staking the Broncos to a 27-13 halftime lead, but he struggled to keep the offense moving in the second half, which resulted in zero points and the Steelers eventually winning 34-27. It may have been due to discomfort in his left shoulder, as he left the game briefly to have it examined, though he quickly returned. He connected with six different receivers, keying mostly on wideouts Emmanuel Sanders (10 catches on 16 targets for 181 yards and one touchdown) and Demaryius Thomas (five catches on 12 targets for 61 yards and two touchdowns). It was certainly a huge fantasy day, and one that will likely continue to give the coaching staff hesitation in moving him to the bench when Peyton Manning returns from his foot injury. Manning had a small setback in his recovery earlier this week, though head coach Gary Kubiak has yet to say who will start when both are healthy. Up next is a Week 16 home game against the Bengals.
