Falcons running back Tevin Coleman suffered a fractured rib during Sunday's game against the Giants and is expected to miss a couple of weeks, ESPN reports.

Coleman was forced out during the first half of Sunday's win, which allowed backup Devonta Freeman to spell him for the remainder of the contest.

Now that Coleman will be out for the next couple weeks, depending on his pain threshold and healing time, Freeman figures to shoulder the bulk of Atlanta's backfield duties, with Terron Ward likely serving as the Falcons' second-string running back.
