The Jaguars have signed Gipson, the Florida Times-Union reports.

Gipson, who turns 26 in August, will bolster the Jaguars' free safety position, an area that the team has been trying to beef up. He's coming off a 2015 season in which he notched 60 tackles in two picks in 13 games, though in 2014 Gipson's ball-hawking skills were evident, as he picked off six passes in 11 games for the Browns.
