Korpisalo was a monster Wednesday, stopping 41 of 42 shots in a 3-1 win over Toronto.
The rookie netminder had it goin' on in this one, and was actually perfect until Brad Boyes beat him with under three minutes remaining in regulation. It was Korpisalo's second victory in seven career appearances and brings him back over the .900 mark for save percentage (.901) to go with a not-so-tidy 3.27 GAA, but such is life when you're getting your feet wet with one of the NHL's worst teams. The 21-year-old was the main reason why the Jackets were able to snap a five-game losing streak Wednesday, so hopefully they can string together a few more wins heading into the All-Star break.
