Coyotes' Steve Downie: Placed on injured reserve Monday

Downie (upper body) was placed on injured reserve Monday, Sarah McLellan of the Arizona Republic reports.

The exact nature and extent of the injury is still somewhat unclear, but Downie had already missed two weeks with the upper-body ailment so the move is more of a procedural one. Louis Domingue was recalled from the AHL in a corresponding move.
