Gibson left Saturday's game against Chicago after the second period due to an upper-body injury, the Chicago Sun-Times reports.
Gibson was bowled over by the Blackhawks' Richard Panik, who was hooked while crashing the net. He was replaced by Frederik Andersen, who picked up the win when Ryan Getzlaf scored the game winner in overtime. Gibson is day-to-day leading up to Monday night's game against Calgary.
