Ronda Rousey's return to UFC competition was expected to take place in November or December of this year, with most speculating that she would main event UFC 205, the first UFC event ever in New York City.

UFC president Dana White had previously said November was the target for Rousey's return, but now he's not so sure that she will be back by then.

"She has as much time off as she wants or needs," said White on "The Michael Kay Show". Obviously, I would love her to come back sooner than later, so we'll see how that plays out, but it wouldn't be a bad thing to roll into New York with Ronda but I just don't know if she's going to be ready."

Rousey has not fought since her knockout loss to Holly Holm last November in Australia, which was the first loss of Rousey's MMA career. Rousey is filming a Road House remake this summer and has not made her plans to return to the Octagon as of yet.

In Rousey's absence, the women's bantamweight division has done well, with Miesha Tate defeating Holly Holm at UFC 196 and Tate set to defend the title against Amanda Nunes at UFC 200. However, whenever Rousey returns, you can expect her to immediately jump back into the title picture.

White knows Rousey's importance to the division and UFC and is just waiting for her to make her decision on when to return, whether that's in New York or later on down the line.
