If Jeremy Santucci asks to borrow your phone for a second, you might want to think twice.

The cyclist was in the lead pack during Saturdays' Red Hook Criterium in Milan when a rider rand into the wall, causing a crash that ruined Santucci's chances of winning (the crash happens about 30 seconds into the video below).

Understandably angry, Santucci stomped toward the finish line with his bike over his shoulder, thinking of what could have been. Rather than simply cross on foot, Santucci decided to Gronk-spike his bike onto the finish line, smashing it into pieces.

There's just one, little problem -- it wasn't his bike.

The bike belonged to a friend, who had let Santucci borrow it while his bike was in the shop. Here's an interview with Santucci from before the race:

Not cool, bro! You and I both know that's not how you treat your homie.

Santucci commented on the Facebook video of him smashing the bike, attempting to explain his actions: "When you heart rate is above 190 and you train all year for finals and get crashed out ... there are a lot of feelings running through you...."

Yup, and there were probably a lot of feelings running through your buddy as you DEMOLISHED HIS BIKE. Let's hope Santucci has already ordered a replacement for his possibly ex-homie, Sergio.
